Its coming..

In some fit of insanity I put "Martyrs" on my Netflix Que and now it is coming. Won't be here till Tuesday, and I can't watch it with my husband in the house, so I will have to watch it Friday night. This film is going to sit around and infect my apartment with its nastiness. Maybe I will call in sick one day so I can watch it. I should not pre-judge. It is (apparently) so good it warranted cover stories in both Rue Morgue and Fangoria. Of course both magazines suggest that this film is not "OK." Meaning, maybe a film like this shouldn't exist? Whatever. I survived "Eraserhead" and I will survive this.

Or maybe not. Check out this review: http://criticalmassreviews.blogspot.com/2008/10/martyrs-2008-pascal-laugier_27.html
What does he mean that once you have watched it, you can't un-watch it?

Okay, when are you going to write about the similarity between real life and zombie movies? Global pandemic! The beginning of all modern zombie movies! I need guidance, Jennifer! They're even saying the swine flue has already mutated and it's not as deadly- you know what that means. What does not kill you--- makes you a zombie@@!@@!!!

I love you. I'm sorry. I will shoot you in the head the next time I see you.

Its not the Swine flu anymore. Now it is called H1N1, or hienie, as I call it. The Pork Industry got all upset about the Swine flu name. I figure it will take about a year for H1N1 to mutate into a zombie virus, so make you plans now. 2010 is the year of the zombie!!! Keep washing your hands!

P.S. I knew I could count on you to shoot me in the head!!
